Ghanaian lawyer and Member of Parliament, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, has firmly dismissed allegations circulating on social media that he privately contacted TikTok user Lopez.

Speaking during an interview with media personality Blakk Rasta, the politician described the claims as completely untrue and urged the public not to pay attention to the accusations.

Assafuah stressed that he has never interacted with the TikToker and does not even know her personally. According to him, the claims suggesting he sent messages to her are fabricated and should be disregarded.

“I want to make it clear that there is absolutely no truth in those allegations. Nothing of that sort has ever happened,” he stated, adding that he has chosen to ignore the claims entirely.

Addressing concerns about whether the rumours have affected his marriage, Assafuah explained that his wife remains unbothered by the issue. He noted that she is confident in their relationship and understands that the circulating claims are baseless.

He added that although his wife, like many others, has come across the reports, she has decided not to give them any attention.

“I married a strong woman, so this is not something that troubles her at all,” he said.
