Keri Hilson showers praise on Stonebwoy, describes him as “an angel on earth”
American singer and songwriter Keri Lynn Hilson has spoken warmly about Ghanaian music star Stonebwoy, praising his personality and describing him as “an angel on earth” in a recent post.
In 2020, the two artists collaborated on the song “Nominate,” a standout track from Stonebwoy’s album, which later gained international recognition and became a global hit, further strengthening their musical bond.
Hilson shared that, unlike many entertainers whose real-life character can be different from the image they portray in their music, Stonebwoy remains authentic and true to himself both on and off the stage.
She described the award-winning artist as calm, humble, and peaceful, adding that his energy and spirit reflect the same sincerity found in his songs.
“Some people you meet are nothing like the music they make, and it can be surprising,” she said.
“But Stonebwoy is exactly who he sounds like. He’s very calm, very peaceful, and so in tune with himself.
He’s almost like an angel on earth.
He serves a great purpose through his music — and that’s truly who he is.”
Hilson further revealed that their connection goes beyond music, noting that they often spend hours talking on the phone and sharing meaningful conversations about life, love, and personal growth.
