KiDi confirms exit from Lynx Entertainment, now an independent artiste
Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer KiDi has confirmed that he is no longer signed to Lynx Entertainment.
He made the announcement during a TikTok Live session with content creator Code Micky, stating, “No, I am no longer with Lynx,” and adding that he is currently working as an independent artiste.
His exit marks the end of a professional relationship with Lynx Entertainment that began in 2016, following his win at the 2015 MTN Hitmaker competition.
Under the label, KiDi first gained radio attention with Say You Love Me, before rising to mainstream prominence with Odo — both of which he self-produced.
One of his most successful releases during his time with Lynx, however, was the global hit Touch It, produced under the Richie Mensah-led imprint.
KiDi noted that his transition toward independence started around the release of Gymnastic, a collaboration with Olivetheboy and Kojo Blak.
After that, he followed up with Babylon, and most recently dropped Signature, a joint track with Lasmid.
