Widowhood rites: Kumasi High Court declares Daddy Lumba has two wives
The Kumasi High Court has dismissed an application by Akosua Serwaa Fosuh seeking to be declared the sole surviving spouse of the late highlife icon, Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, widely known as Daddy Lumba.
In its ruling, the Court held that Serwaa Fosuh could not be recognised as the only surviving spouse and affirmed that both women involved in the matter qualify as surviving spouses of the late musician.
The Court subsequently ordered Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu to allow both women to take part in the widowhood rites, ensuring their joint participation in the traditional processes following Daddy Lumba’s passing.
