Deputy Roads Minister apologises for inconveniences over Pokuase-Nsawam road works suspension

Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Alhassan Suhuyini, has apologised to motorists for the inconvenience caused by the suspension of construction works along the Pokuase-Nsawam road in the Greater Accra Region.
Appearing before the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament today, Suhuyini expressed regret for the difficulties faced by drivers during the period of halted works on the busy highway.
He assured the committee that the ongoing extension project has since resumed, with the contractor back on site to continue construction.
According to him, the project remains on schedule, and the ministry is committed to ensuring timely completion.
The Pokuase-Nsawam road is a critical link for commuters and traders, and its expansion is expected to ease congestion and improve travel times once completed.
