Dr Drew plants ‘Tree of Life’ at Jubilee House to mark Ghana–Saint Kitts and Nevis friendship
The Prime Minister of Dr Terrance Michael Drew on Wednesday planted a commemorative tree at the Presidential Garden of Jubilee House in Accra, Ghana, following bilateral talks with President John Dramani Mahama.
The tree, referred to as the Tree of Life, was planted as a symbolic gesture to mark the strengthening ties and growing cooperation between Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The ceremony formed part of activities during Prime Minister Drew’s official visit to Ghana, where both leaders held discussions aimed at deepening diplomatic relations and exploring opportunities for collaboration between the two nations.

According to a statement from the Presidency, the planting of the tree reflects the shared commitment of both countries to nurture a partnership rooted in mutual respect, cultural affinity and development cooperation.
The Tree of Life is expected to stand as a lasting symbol of the friendship between Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis and the leaders’ resolve to expand engagement across various sectors.
