Energy Minister inspects ECG transformer upgrades in Nungua
The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has inspected ongoing works by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to replace and upgrade transformers aimed at improving power supply reliability in the Greater Accra Region.
During a visit to ECG’s Nungua District Office, the Minister observed the installation of new transformers expected to enhance electricity distribution and reduce outages in the area.
The exercise forms part of broader efforts by the power distributor to strengthen infrastructure and ensure stable electricity supply to consumers and to also sustain businesses.
