GES warns public against paying fees for recruitment
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the public against making any payments in connection with its ongoing recruitment exercise.
In a statement, Management of the Service said its attention has been drawn to the activities of individuals using the name of GES to solicit money from applicants.
GES stated unequivocally that it does not charge any fees in any form as a condition or assurance for recruitment into the Service.
The statement advised all prospective applicants not to pay money or offer any inducement to persons claiming to be officials of the Service or to have links within GES.
It further urged applicants and the general public to report any individual or group demanding or collecting money in relation to GES recruitment to the nearest police station.
Management added that it is working with security agencies to identify and take action against those involved in such activities.
