Supreme Court adjourns Kpandai election petition appeal indefinitely
The Supreme Court of Ghana has adjourned sine die an appeal filed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Daniel Nsala Wakpal, in relation to the Kpandai parliamentary election petition.
The appeal challenges a 4–1 majority decision delivered by the court on January 28, which quashed a ruling by the Tamale High Court.
Presiding judge, Gabriel Pwaman, apologised to the parties for the court’s inability to properly constitute its panel for the hearing.
The proceedings lasted about five minutes before the case was adjourned indefinitely.
