Energy Minister reviews PHDC’s 2025 performance, aligns strategic priorities
The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has held a high-level strategic engagement with the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) to review its performance for 2025 and align priorities for the year ahead.
The meeting, according to Dr Jinapor, forms part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to strengthen service delivery across Ghana’s energy sector and ensure that key institutions remain results-oriented.
In a social media post on Friday, January 23, the Minister said the engagement provided an opportunity to evaluate PHDC’s execution over the past year while identifying new avenues to enhance the Corporation’s impact within the energy value chain.
“The session focused on strengthening execution, unlocking new opportunities, and positioning the Corporation to deliver greater value across the energy value chain,” Dr Jinapor noted.
He reaffirmed the central role of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation in Ghana’s long-term energy ambitions, describing it as a critical catalyst for investment attraction and infrastructure development in the sector.
Dr Jinapor added that aligning institutional strategies with national energy priorities remains key to driving sustainable growth and advancing Ghana’s green transition agenda.
