Ghana Embassy in Doha requests details of citizens affected by Qatar airspace closure
The Embassy of Ghana in Doha has called on Ghanaian nationals affected by the recent closure of airspace and suspension of regular commercial flight operations in Qatar to submit their travel details to the mission to facilitate their onward journeys.
In a public notice, the Embassy said the directive follows guidance from the host authorities after disruptions to flights involving Qatar Airways.
The Embassy explained that Ghanaians who are currently in transit in Doha or residents awaiting departure from the city with valid Qatar Airways tickets are required to provide their names, the biodata pages of their passports, and copies of their tickets.
According to the mission, the requested information should be sent via email to the Embassy to enable it to coordinate with the relevant authorities to assist affected travellers in departing Doha for their respective destinations.
The Embassy assured that the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to support Ghanaian citizens affected by the disruption in flight operations.
