A public notice issued by law firm Minkah-Premo, Osei-Bonsu, Bruce-Cathline & Partners has announced that a Red Notice issued against Ken Ofori-Atta has been permanently deleted from INTERPOL’s files.

According to the statement, the decision was communicated on February 13, 2026, by the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL's Files (CCF).

The commission informed Ofori-Atta that during its 135th Session held on February 4, 2026, it determined that the Red Notice issued against him “appears of a predominantly political character.”

The CCF concluded that the notice was non-compliant with INTERPOL’s rules and ordered that it be deleted permanently from the organisation’s records.

The notice further cited the commission as stating that, after a thorough examination of the elements before it, the challenged data registered by the INTERPOL National Central Bureau of Ghana did not comply with INTERPOL’s rules and should be removed from the INTERPOL information system.

The statement was signed by Justice Kusi-Minkah Premo, ESQ, counsel for Ken Ofori-Atta, and dated February 13, 2026.
