UPSA Law School to honour Tsatsu Tsikata at special lecture and awards event
The UPSA Law School has announced plans to host a special honourific lecture and awards ceremony in recognition of the lifetime achievements of renowned Ghanaian lawyer and public servant, Tsatsu Tsikata.
The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium on the UPSA campus in Accra, starting at 3:00 PM GMT.
The programme aims to celebrate Mr. Tsikata’s distinguished contributions to law, public service, and academia, highlighting his enduring impact on Ghana’s legal and governance landscape.
Organisers say the lecture will bring together legal practitioners, academics, students, and members of the public to reflect on his legacy and engage in discussions on key legal and national development issues.
The event is being supported by several media partners, including Joy News, Daily Graphic, and Citi News.
The ceremony is expected to serve as both a celebration of excellence and an inspiration to the next generation of legal professionals in Ghana.![]()
