NDC Asawase executives donate to Kumasi Children’s Home and Special School
Executives of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asawase Constituency of the Ashanti Region have donated food items to the Kumasi Children’s Home and the Garden City Special School as part of efforts to support vulnerable groups in society.
The donation was led by the Constituency Vice Chairman, Alhaji Mustapha Ayarga, in collaboration with other party executives and functionaries on behalf of the MP for Asawase and Minister for Interior, Mohammed Mubarak -Muntaka.
The items presented included bags of rice, boxes of cooking oil, mackerel, and tomato paste.
According to the group, the gesture forms part of their commitment to improving the welfare of disadvantaged individuals and institutions within the constituency.
They noted that the initiative goes beyond charity, reflecting the NDC’s core values of equity, inclusiveness, and social protection.
Speaking during the presentation, the team emphasized the importance of compassionate and people-centered leadership, stressing that no child should be left behind and that institutions caring for vulnerable persons must be adequately supported.
They reaffirmed the party’s dedication to advancing policies and programmes aimed at uplifting the underprivileged and strengthening social protection systems across communities.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the support, describing the donation as timely and impactful in helping to meet the needs of the children and students under their care.
