Ghana, Germany strengthens education cooperation in TVET and skills development
The German Ambassador to Ghana, Frederik Landshöft, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Education,Hruna Iddrssu reinforcing efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation between Ghana and Germany, particularly in the education sector.
The meeting focused on strengthening long-standing relations between the two countries, with emphasis on skills development, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), and broader education reforms aimed at improving employability and workforce readiness.
Discussions highlighted ongoing collaboration opportunities to enhance capacity-building initiatives and expand access to practical, industry-relevant training for young people across Ghana.
The Ambassador reaffirmed Germany’s continued commitment to supporting Ghana’s education transformation agenda through strategic partnerships, technical assistance, and knowledge exchange programmes.
The engagement forms part of continued diplomatic efforts to strengthen cooperation between Ghana and Germany in key development areas, especially education and human capital development.
