John Dumelo visits TU Delft to strengthen Ghana-Netherlands agricultural collaboration
The Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, John Dumelo, has visited Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) as part of his official tour of the Netherlands.
The visit, which forms part of the third day of his working trip, underscores growing collaboration between Ghana and the Netherlands in the areas of innovation and sustainable agriculture.
During the engagement, an innovation market was held, featuring Dutch companies operating in the seed, water, and fertilizer sectors.
The companies showcased a range of solutions considered adaptable to Ghana’s agricultural landscape.
According to the Deputy Minister, the interactions provided an opportunity to explore practical technologies and partnerships that could enhance productivity, improve resource management, and support sustainable farming practices in Ghana.
He said the visit also involved participation from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ghana, reflecting ongoing bilateral cooperation aimed at strengthening Ghana’s agricultural sector through innovation and knowledge exchange.
Further engagements are expected as Ghana continues to seek strategic partnerships to boost food production and agricultural transformation.
