Embattled NSA Director-General hands over to Ruth Seddoh as Acting D-G

The embattled Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, has officially handed over leadership to Ruth Seddoh, who will now serve as the Acting Director-General of NSA.
The transition marks a new chapter for the Authority following weeks of uncertainty surrounding its leadership.
While details of the circumstances leading to the change remain unclear, officials say the handover was conducted smoothly to ensure continuity in the NSA’s operations.
Ms. Seddoh, a senior official within the Authority, is expected to steer affairs as the government finalises decisions regarding the substantive leadership of the institution.
Staff of the NSA have expressed cautious optimism that the new leadership will bring stability and renewed focus to the organisation’s mandate of deploying graduates to serve in various sectors of national development.
Mr Gyamfi has been reassigned to the Ministry of Finance.
However, Minister of Youth Development, George Opare Addo, in an interview with Accra-based Neat FM, said the board will meet today for a press statement to be released on the current developments at the Authority.
He indicated his disagreement with the embattled D-G over the Authority's website, adding that he was for the redevelopment of a new website, and the embattled D-G was for tweaking the website.
