GMTF partner with Telecel Ghana, Project C.U.R.E. to strengthen healthcare delivery in Ghana

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund(GMTF), has partnered with Telecel Ghana and Project C.U.R.E.to  contribute to the strengthening of healthcare delivery across Ghana through the supply of state-of-the-art medical equipment to hospitals nationwide.

The initiative is aimed at improving healthcare outcomes, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring that critical health facilities are better equipped to meet the needs of patients, particularly in underserved communities.

Through the collaboration, modern medical equipment is being distributed to selected health facilities across the country, helping to bridge infrastructure gaps and improve the quality of care provided to patients.

The partnership has been described as a key intervention in supporting Ghana’s healthcare system, with stakeholders noting its potential to save lives and strengthen the capacity of health workers.

The Fund's Administrator , Adwoa Oboubia Darko said the partners involved in the initiative have expressed appreciation for the collaboration, noting that it reflects a shared commitment to improving health outcomes for Ghanaians.

She  acknowledged the support of other contributing partners whose continued efforts are helping to transform healthcare delivery across the country.

 

According to her, the initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen Ghana’s health system through strategic partnerships between the private sector, development organisations, and healthcare stakeholders.
