Margins ID Group supports 13th Oguaa breast cancer campaign durbar, calls for end to stigma
The Margins ID Group has joined the 13th Oguaa Breast Cancer Campaign Durbar in Cape Coast to express solidarity with breast cancer fighters, survivors, and advocates, reaffirming its commitment to raising awareness and ending stigma associated with the disease.
The durbar, which forms part of the annual Oguaa Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities, brought together community leaders, health professionals, civil society groups, and individuals affected by breast cancer to promote early detection, treatment, and emotional support for patients and survivors.
Participating under the theme “Say No to Stigma, Yes to Support,” the Margins ID Group emphasised the importance of compassion, education, and action in addressing the challenges faced by breast cancer patients.
Representatives of the Group joined survivors and advocates to share messages of hope, resilience, and solidarity, while encouraging regular screening and open conversations about breast health.
The company reiterated its dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility, particularly in initiatives that promote community health and women’s empowerment.
“Our presence here today is to stand with the community, to say no to stigma and yes to support.
Breast cancer is not a death sentence — early detection saves lives,” a representative of the Margins ID Group said.
The Oguaa Breast Cancer Campaign, now in its 13th year, continues to serve as a vital platform for public education, advocacy, and mobilization around breast cancer prevention and care.
