Afenyo-Markin is a 'pedestrian communicator' - Emmanuel Reagan Fynn
The Ashanti Regional Deputy Youth Organiser and Regional Organiser hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Reagan Fynn, has labelled Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin a "pedestrian communicator" over claims that GOLDBOD has been operating at a loss.
Addressing the media, Mr Fynn asserted that constitutional oversight bodies exist to ensure institutional transparency, urging the Minority Leader to present his allegations through official parliamentary channels rather than making public declarations without evidence.
"GOLDBOD is an institution, one of the institutions in the country, and as far as I'm concerned, they are not above accountability," the aspirant stated.
Mr Fynn criticised the Minority Leader's approach, comparing it unfavourably to factual communication.
"Afenyo-Markin, per his utterances of late, I describe him as a pedestrian communicator. A pedestrian communicator will not find the source of his information before he comes out to speak," he remarked, adding that the Minority Leader "is just speaking out of emotions and not basing his speech on any facts."
Mr Fynn further noted that if legitimate financial issues exist, formal petitions should be directed to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to "get to the root cause of it."
He praised GOLDBOD Chief Executive Officer Sammy Gyamfi describing him as a "statesman" who operates based on facts.
