Joshua Nii Armah Solomon, a candidate for the Okaikwei North Constituency Secretary position, has successfully filed his nomination and completed vetting ahead of the party's constituency elections.

Solomon announced on Saturday that he had picked the second position on the ballot, expressing gratitude to supporters and party members who backed his candidacy.

"By the grace of God, today's vetting was successful, and I am grateful to everyone who remembered me in prayer and supported me," he said.

He confirmed that he had "officially and successfully filed my nomination to contest for the position of Constituency Secretary of the Okaikwei North Constituency."

The declaration was made at the party's constituency office to formally start his campaign.

Solomon has framed his candidacy around what he describes as "a new energy" and "a clear direction" for the constituency's administrative wing.

His campaign slogan emphasises "experience to serve" and the need to build "an accessible, organized, and responsive Secretariat."
