Ghana Publishing Company owes GRA GH¢22 million in unpaid tax
The Ghana Publishing Company is facing a GH¢22 million tax liability owed to the Ghana Revenue Authority in unpaid Value Added Tax (VAT) covering the period between 2020 and 2024.
The company's Managing Director, Nana Kwesi Boaitey says management became aware of the outstanding debt about a month ago and is currently engaging the GRA to agree on how the liability can be settled over time.
Despite the financial setback, the Managing Director says management remains committed to addressing inherited and emerging challenges as it works to restore the company.
