NPP dismisses purported expulsion of Kevin Taylor and Ernest Owusu Bempah as fake
The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has dismissed as false a statement circulating on social media claiming that Kevin Taylor and Ernest Owusu Bempah have been expelled from the party.
The statement, dated May 10, 2026, alleged that the two individuals had been removed from the party over gross misconduct, anti-party activities, and public attacks against the NPP.
However, according to the party leadership, the statement is fake and should be disregarded by party members and the general public.
The purported release, which was attributed to the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, also cited provisions of the NPP Constitution and claimed the decision followed consultations with relevant party organs.
Party officials have clarified that no such expulsion decision has been announced by the NPP.
