The Chief of Sempe, Nii Adotey Otintor, has delivered a strong message on leadership, urging traditional rulers across Ghana to evaluate politicians based on their actions, integrity, and track record rather than campaign promises or persuasive speeches.

According to the Sempe chief, political leaders should earn the confidence and endorsement of chiefs through demonstrated commitment to public service, transparency, and the fulfillment of promises. He observed that many politicians make sweeping pledges during election campaigns only to neglect them once they assume office.

Nii Adotey Otintor called on chiefs to remain vigilant, courageous, and principled in their engagements with political leaders. He stressed that traditional authorities have a responsibility to demand meaningful social and infrastructural development for their communities, adding that the failure of a society often stems from weak or self-serving leadership rather than from the people themselves.

He further appealed to the government to renew its commitment to the development of Sempe School, Salaga Market, and other important institutions and landmarks in Ga Mashie. He also advocated for the revitalization of educational institutions that have remained neglected for years, describing their restoration as essential to national development.

The Sempe chief expressed his views with characteristic passion, demonstrating a deep commitment to the welfare of his people, the preservation of Ga culture, and the advancement of the GaDangme community.
