Ghana to launch Electro Atom project to boost clean energy and job creation
Ghana is preparing to roll out the Electro Atom Project, a major energy innovation designed to expand access to clean, affordable, and reliable electricity while creating thousands of jobs.
The initiative was announced by Prince Adams, Country Representative of Electro Atom LLC in Ghana.
Powered by autonomous energy stations developed by Tribal Technology, the Electro Atom Project aims to support national growth through modern, sustainable energy solutions.
Mr Adams noted that the initiative reflects his core values of healthy living, financial empowerment, and the advancement of green technology.
The project is expected to deliver multiple benefits, including:
Cleaner energy to support climate action
More affordable electricity for households and businesses
Economic growth driven by new investments
Greater energy independence
Expanded electrification in rural areas
Mr Adams said the project will position Ghana at the forefront of the global energy transition, providing the country with an opportunity to lead Africa in advanced green technology development.
Former Parliamentary Candidate and Presidential Staffer, Haja Mariama Mohammed, also welcomed the initiative, highlighting its potential to stimulate economic activities, reduce crime, and provide stable jobs for the youth.
She added that Ghana’s strategic location and strong investment climate influenced the decision to make the country the central hub for the project.
The Electro Atom Project is expected to significantly support national revenue generation, boost youth employment, and accelerate the government’s efforts toward sustainable development and improved livelihoods for Ghanaians.
