Argentina beat England to set up Spain ‘final showdown’
Argentina has booked a place in the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a hard-fought win over England, setting up a blockbuster title clash against Spain.
The Albiceleste edged past the Three Lions in a tense semi-final that delivered drama, late chances, and another big performance from Lionel Scaloni’s side.
England took control early and held firm under pressure as Argentina pushed for an equalizer and later got the winning goal.
