Black Stars record first training in Seoul ahead of South Korea friendly today
The Black Stars had their first training session in Seoul on Sunday, November 16, 2025, ahead of their international friendly against South Korea.
The international friendly is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18. The team will train at the Seoul World Cup Stadium today, Monday, November 17, to fine-tune their preparations.
After the team's 2:0 defeat to Japan, and the injury of three players, Coach Otto Addo faces a daunting assignment.
Mohammed Salisu had a bilateral medial collateral ligament sprain, which was confirmed by Monaco and the Black Stars medical team.
Antoine Semenyo had a left anterior talo-fibula ligament sprain, which, according to reports, was aggravated during the game against Japan. Prince Kwabena Adu substituted Semenyo in the 55th minute of the game.
Francis Abu was fouled by Japan's Tanaka Ao. He was taken to the Toyota Memorial Hospital in Aichi for surgery over a fracture of two bones. After a successful surgery, he is in the acute phase of his rehabilitation.
