“Our lands are secure, litigation-free” – Trasacco assures investors, developers

Trasacco Estates Development Company Limited has assured investors, homeowners, and the public that calm has been restored at its Tema Springs serviced plots development along the Accra-Tema motorway stretch in the Greater Accra Region following recent unlawful demolitions that targeted fence walls and properties belonging to its clients.
At a press conference in Accra on Friday, September 26, 2025, the company confirmed that the Ghana Police Service has identified suspects behind the demolitions, issued invitations for questioning, and is pursuing others who fled the country. Trasacco pledged full cooperation with security agencies to ensure justice.
“We condemn this criminality in the strongest terms and are cooperating fully with the authorities to ensure justice is served,” said Kwame Owusu Danso, General Manager, Corporate Affairs and Legal Director of Trasacco Group.
The company also addressed misinformation surrounding the incident.
It disclosed that the Office of the National Chief Imam had confirmed no authorisation was given for the use of His Eminence’s name in relation to the dispute.
Additionally, Trasacco stated that it had contacted the Presidency to clarify allegations of military involvement and was awaiting an official response.
Management emphasised that the company lawfully acquired the 270.1-acre land for the Tema Springs project from the Tema Development Corporation (TDC) in 2004, with the transaction formalised in a lease dated November 29, 2012.
For more than a decade, the land has been developed and peacefully occupied by clients, with uninterrupted access to essential facilities, including schools.
Reaffirming its commitment to stakeholders, Trasacco urged calm and confidence in the rule of law while the matter is resolved. “We reassure our investors and homeowners of our steadfast commitment to protecting their interests and delivering quality serviced plots,” the company stated.
