Bosheba urges Shatta Wale to submit to professional management for global success
Media personality and music critic Bosheba has stated that dancehall artist Shatta Wale can only achieve sustained international success if he submits himself fully to professional management and allows his team to handle his affairs.
Speaking on Top Radio, Bosheba compared Shatta Wale’s immense star power and raw talent to that of former football stars Eric Cantona and Mario Balotelli, describing him as a gifted but unpredictable figure whose career trajectory depends largely on discipline and structure.
According to Bosheba, Shatta Wale possesses a global-ready brand, massive fan base, and undeniable influence in the Ghanaian and African music space, but his biggest challenge lies in management and personal control over every aspect of his career.
“Shatta Wale has the star power of someone like Cantona or Balotelli — exceptionally talented, fearless, and influential.
But for him to truly break into the international market, he must submit himself and allow proper management to run his affairs professionally,” Bosheba said.
He explained that the international music industry requires strict adherence to structure, contracts, branding, public relations, and strategic collaborations, areas where strong management plays a critical role.
Bosheba further noted that while Shatta Wale has enjoyed local and continental success, global recognition demands consistency, discipline, and trust in a professional team that understands international standards.
The comments have since sparked conversations among music industry players and fans, with many agreeing that effective management remains key to translating Shatta Wale’s enormous talent and popularity into lasting global success.
Shatta Wale, one of Ghana’s most influential musicians, has, over the years, been praised for his resilience and independence, but critics continue to argue that a more structured management approach could elevate his career to greater international heights.
