Shatta Wale bows before Tinny: 'He fed and sheltered me'

Singer Shatta Wale has showed profound respect and appreciation for rapper Tinny, revealing he had been the beneficiary of the rapper's kindness.
The Reggae/Dancehall star said the Hiplife star fed and clothed him when he was destitute.
He spoke during his ginormous birthday celebration at the Independence (Black Star) Square, Accra, Saturday, October 18, 2025. The free event drew startling numbers that underlined the star power of Wale, and the devotion he enjoys from his following.
“Ladies and gentlemen, this man I’m about to introduce is the man who took care of me when I didn’t have food, clothing, phone and shelter. Ladies and gentlemen, let me welcome T.I.N.N.Y, Tinny!”
Right after the surprise revelation and introduction, a famed collaboration of the pair, Moko Hoo, ushering in Tinny.
“When I say SM, you say for life,” Tinny proclaimed in response when he arrived on stage.
He prayed: “God bless everybody who supports Shatta Wale. You will make it in life.”
As Tinny spoke, Shatta Wale was at his feet, bowing in homage.
The Shatta Fest event was such success, Reggae/Dancehall star and visual artist Epixode wrote: "Let it be written that he is him! Gold from the rock. More like!"
Fervent Shatta Wale critic, Reggae singer and comic David Oscar Dogbe wrote on Facebook: "Even if you hate Charles Nii Armah Mensah, this is one of those moment[s] where you just have to stop and doff your cap [cap emoji]. Let's keep hoping that he will mature in his ways towards Stonebwoy. If he does, Ghana [flag emoji] wins bigger."
