ECG Launches Aggressive Revenue Drive in Volta and Oti Regions with “Operation All Must Pay”

Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced the commencement of a robust revenue mobilisation exercise dubbed Operation All Must Pay across the Volta and Oti Regions, beginning Monday, July 14, 2025.
The exercise, which will run for two weeks every month until December 2025, aims to ensure that all electricity consumers meet their financial obligations and that the company recovers significant revenue lost through unpaid bills and illegal connections.
Ms Eunice Tweneboah-Kodua, ECG’s Volta and Oti Public Relations Officer (PRO), said the operation will target multiple categories of customers and activities, including disconnection of customers with high outstanding debts; routine disconnection of defaulting consumers; identification and registration of unregistered Self-Help Electrification Project (SHEP) customers; billing of all active but unbilled customers; customer service engagements with paid-up customers, and disconnection of illegal connections and recovery of associated losses.
The statement further encouraged customers to settle their electricity bills promptly through ECG’s usual payment channels, particularly the ECG Mobile App, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Customers may also reach the ECG Contact Center on 0302 611 611 or through the company’s official social media platforms for assistance or inquiries.
The ECG emphasised that this exercise forms part of its broader mandate to improve service delivery, reduce commercial losses, and ensure the sustainability of electricity supply in the Volta and Oti Regions.
Residents and businesses are therefore advised to check their payment status and cooperate with ECG officials during the period of the operation.
