Easter: Police assures of safety

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has announced comprehensive security measures have been put in place nationwide to ensure a safe and peaceful 2025 Easter celebration.
In an April 17, 2025, statement, the service said, “Officers have been deployed on roads and within communities to provide security for the Easter activities in all regions of the country.”
The GPS indicated Kwahu and its popular Easter revels were under its radar, too.
“Special security arrangements have also been made within the Kwahu areas to cover the Paragliding Festival and other scheduled activities.”
The statement encouraged “everyone to be security conscious, remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police.
“The Police Administration wishes you a happy Easter.”
