NPA supports Vakpo SHS with new staff bungalow under CSR initiative
The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has handed over a newly constructed two–unit semi-detached staff bungalow to Vakpo Senior High School in the North Dayi District of the Volta Region as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes.
The facility, built through a collaborative effort between the school and its Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and completed with support from the NPA, is expected to help address accommodation challenges for teachers and improve staff retention.
Speaking at the brief inauguration ceremony, school authorities commended the NPA for its intervention, noting that decent staff housing remains a major need for many second-cycle institutions across the country.
They said the improved accommodation will motivate teachers to stay on campus and enhance supervision and academic performance.
The NPA, in its remarks, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education and community development through targeted investments that improve learning environments.
The Authority expressed appreciation to the school and the PTA for initiating the project and pledged its continuous partnership with institutions that work towards building better futures for young people.
