Residents of the area expressed excitement over the progress, describing the Astro Turf as a long-awaited intervention that will finally provide a safe, modern space for football and other recreational activities.
According to the contractor, the project is expected to be completed within four months.
Once operational, the facility is expected to nurture sporting talent and create opportunities for young people across the constituency.
