Awutu Senya East MP engages Kasoa Old Market traders on business challenges

The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region, Miss Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, has met with traders and trader unions at the Kasoa Old Market to discuss challenges affecting their businesses and explore possible solutions.
During the meeting, the traders voiced concerns over what they described as persistent harassment and intimidation by taskforce officers.
They also called for a more considerate approach to tax collection, improved security in and around the market, better sanitation, and the installation of streetlights to enhance safety.
In an interview with Class News correspondent Samuel Addo, Ms. Okunor assured the traders that her office would actively engage relevant authorities to address their concerns.
She pledged to work towards creating a more business-friendly environment that supports the livelihoods of market women and men in Kasoa.
The traders expressed appreciation to the MP for taking the time to listen to their grievances and demonstrating a commitment to finding lasting solutions.
They expressed optimism that her intervention will bring much-needed relief and improve conditions for trade at the Kasoa Old Market.
