Ghana’s newly appointed Ambassador to Brazil, Nii Amassa Namoale, has charged staff and career diplomats at the Ghanaian Embassy in Brasília to actively promote President John Dramani Mahama’s ’reset agenda’ in order to attract investors to Ghana.

Addressing embassy staff during his first day in office last week, Ambassador Namoale stressed the need for Ghana’s diplomatic mission to market the President’s vision on the global stage. 

He emphasised that increased investment would not only boost Ghana’s economy but also create jobs for the country’s growing youth population.

“We must work diligently to showcase Ghana’s potential and ensure that President Mahama’s ‘reset agenda’ translates into tangible investments,” he said.

 “Brazil and the wider international community can invest in areas such as technology, human resources, and knowledge-based industries. It is our duty to make that case.”

Ambassador Namoale further urged his team to see their work as a national calling.

“At the end of the day, when asked what you contributed to your country, you should be able to proudly say you played a role in securing investments that advanced Ghana’s progress,” he added.

He reiterated the importance of building partnerships that yield mutual benefits for both Ghana and Brazil.
