NDC’s Bernard Bediako confident of victory as Akwatia prepares for polls

Parliamentary Candidate for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Bediako Baidoo, has expressed strong confidence ahead of tomorrow’s BY-elections, declaring that he is certain of victory.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Bediako stated that he has already secured the support needed to win, adding that his hope is for a wider margin to make the victory even more decisive.
Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Denkyembour, Urma Mohammed, has called on all eligible voters to come out in their numbers to cast their ballots.
The DCE further assured constituents that adequate security has been deployed across the area to guarantee peaceful and orderly voting, stressing that the presence of security personnel is meant to ensure safety and not to intimidate voters.
The polls in Denkyembour are expected to be keenly contested, but both electoral officials and security agencies have reaffirmed their commitment to a transparent, credible, and peaceful process.
