The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre(GIPC), in collaboration with the Ghana Revenue Authority(GRA), has held strategic discussions with HMN Company on plans to establish an Electric Vehicle (EV) assembly plant in Ghana.

The engagement focused on positioning Ghana as a hub for EV manufacturing to serve the wider West African market, as part of efforts to drive industrialisation and attract high-value investments.

During the meeting, GIPC reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating the investment process, while the GRA pledged to provide clear regulatory guidance and ensure compliance with tax requirements.

Officials also highlighted Ghana’s strong investment climate, citing political stability and a conducive business environment as key factors that make the country attractive for large-scale industrial projects.

Both GIPC and GRA assured the company of continued support throughout the regulatory and implementation process, underscoring government’s readiness to partner investors in advancing Ghana’s electric mobility ambitions.
