Women’s Wing of Ghana Fintech & Payments Association congratulates BoG’s Second Deputy Governor

The Women’s Wing of the Ghana Fintech & Payments Association has paid a courtesy call on the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Mrs. Matilda Asante-Asiedu, to congratulate her on her appointment.
The meeting, held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Bank Square, also underscored the central bank’s commitment to promoting affirmative action in the financial sector.
Discussions centred on BoG’s collaborations with regulated financial institutions to ensure women are given greater opportunities, recognition, and support to thrive within the industry.
Mrs. Asante-Asiedu reaffirmed the Bank’s dedication to building an inclusive financial ecosystem that encourages more women to actively participate in and shape Ghana’s financial landscape.
The Ghana Fintech & Payments Association’s Women’s Wing commended the central bank’s leadership and pledged to continue working closely with regulators and stakeholders to advance gender equity in finance.
