GOIL board begins familiarisation programme to key sites

The Board of Directors of GOIL PLC has commenced an onboarding and familiarisation programme with tours of strategic operational sites in Accra.
Their first stop was the company’s soon-to-be-completed ultra-modern Head Office complex at Dzorwulu.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the facility incorporates solar power, rainwater harvesting systems, and multiple sources of electricity and water supply.
Board Chairman, Nana Philip Archer, described the project as a landmark symbol of GOIL’s growth and long-term strategic vision.
The Board also visited the Jetty/Joint User Hydrant Installation (JUHI) at Kotoka International Airport, where they received a briefing on the facility’s critical role in delivering reliable, world-class aviation fuel supply.
According to GOIL, the familiarisation visits are part of efforts to deepen the Board’s understanding of the company’s key assets, enhance oversight responsibilities, and support long-term value creation.
The programme is expected to continue with nationwide tours of other installations in the coming weeks.
