Ghanaian singer Camidoh has clarified the role dancehall star Stonebwoy plays in his life, stating that he takes advice from him and regards him as a big brother rather than just a friend.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, Camidoh confirmed that he does have people he turns to for guidance, and Stonebwoy is one of them.

He explained that in 2025, there were several moments when he reached out to Stonebwoy for advice.

According to him, the BHIM Nation president has not only expressed love publicly but has also shown it through his actions.

Camidoh shared that there have been times Stonebwoy personally called him—or asked his manager to reach out—to recommend him for performance opportunities he could not attend.

In such instances, Camidoh stepped in to perform.

The singer stressed that these gestures have built trust between them, adding that even if people try to suggest that Stonebwoy does not like him, he would not believe it.

“No matter how many times someone tells me Stonebwoy doesn’t like me, I won’t accept it because he has supported me before,” he said.

When asked if Stonebwoy is his friend, Camidoh responded by redefining their relationship.

“I will call him a big brother rather than a friend. We don’t really talk like that, but I do take advice from him,” he stated
