According to the funeral arrangements, the ceremonies will span three days in early May:
* Friday, May 8, 2026: A wake-keeping service will be held to begin the final journey of the icon.
* Saturday, May 9, 2026: The body will be laid in state at the Asuofua Town Park for public viewing and final respects. This will be followed by the burial and final funeral rites at the same venue.
- Dress Code: Attendees are requested to wear Red and Black.
* Sunday, May 10, 2026: A Thanksgiving Service will take place at Sokoban-Ampayoo. Following the service, further proceedings will continue at the Asuofua Town Park starting at 12:00 PM.

Yaw Sarpong, known for over 25 albums and hits that defined a generation of Ghanaian gospel music, is remembered as a "Messenger" whose ministry impacted believers across Africa. His passing followed shortly after the death of his long-time backing vocalist, Maame Tiwaa, in December 2025.
The family has extended a cordial invitation to all friends, fans, and sympathizers to join them in honoring the legacy of a man whose music brought comfort and hope to many.
