Eugene Zuta: My calling spans teaching, ministry, charity and music — I’m not just a musician
Musical artist Eugene Zuta has shared insights into his multifaceted calling, stressing that his life and work cannot be confined to music alone.
In a conversation on No.1 FM’s Journey to Heaven, anchored by Taller Dee, Zuta explained that his journey has included teaching for over a decade, involvement in NGO and charity work, and active ministry as an ordained pastor.
According to him, different people are assigned different roles in life, and his own assignment extends beyond the public perception of him as a musician.
He noted that while music and ministry have brought him public visibility, they are not the only areas he operates in, adding that he also has a personal pastoral calling and continues to serve in various capacities behind the scenes.
Eugene Zuta emphasised that he is not driven by the desire for fame or spotlight, but rather by a sense of divine purpose. He explained that if it were not for the assignments he believes God has given him, he would prefer to remain out of the public eye.
He further described the “limelight” as something he believes is assigned by God for specific purposes, insisting that individuals are placed in visibility only when it is time for them to play their part.
He also highlighted his belief in shared responsibility within God’s work, stating that when one person is in the spotlight, others should support them until their own time comes to step forward and contribute.
