Strengthening the ghanaian passport

Minister Ablakwa noted that these agreements are part of a broader diplomatic effort to increase the value and mobility of the Ghanaian passport.

He emphasised that as the government continues to negotiate more waivers, it is simultaneously enhancing the security protocols surrounding the issuance of national passports.

The move is expected to foster closer bilateral ties, facilitate easier travel for business and tourism, and promote cultural exchange between Ghana and these partner nations across Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.
