Police arrest suspected brothel operator in Ashanti South
Police in the Ashanti South Region have arrested a 28-year-old Nigerian woman suspected of operating a brothel at Manso Watreso.
The arrest followed a tip-off from a resident who reported alleged illegal activities in the area involving some foreign nationals. Acting on the information, police conducted a raid on the facility.
The suspect, believed to be the owner of the establishment, is currently in custody assisting with investigations.
Authorities say several other individuals reportedly fled the scene during the operation.
Police have indicated that efforts are underway to track down the remaining suspects as investigations continue.
