Deputy Transport Minister engages U.S. investors on tourism opportunities in Western Region
The Deputy Minister for Transport nd Member of Parliament for Jomoro in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has held discussions with a delegation of investors from the United States to explore tourism development opportunities in the Western Region and across Ghana.
The meeting focused on identifying viable investment prospects within Jomoro and other parts of the region, with the aim of boosting tourism and driving local economic growth.
Speaking after the engagement, the Deputy Minister reaffirmed her commitment to initiatives that promote job creation, community development, and national progress.
She expressed optimism that the discussions would translate into concrete investments that benefit both the people of the Western Region and the country as a whole.
She concluded that the engagement forms part of ongoing efforts by government officials to attract foreign investment into key sectors, particularly tourism, as Ghana seeks to strengthen its economy and expand opportunities for local communities.
