The LPG Operators Association has called for enhanced collaboration with the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) to strengthen Ghana’s Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) value chain.

The call was made during a meeting between the Association and the NPA, which was characterised by what both parties described as cordial engagement and a shared commitment to advancing the sector.

Chief Executive of the NPA, Mr. Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, assured operators of the Authority’s continued cooperation, stressing its resolve to create a fair and enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

He noted that the NPA remains committed to ensuring that LPG operators conduct their activities in a manner that is both profitable and ethically sound, while maintaining industry standards.

Mr. Tameklo also reaffirmed the Authority’s dedication to sustained dialogue with stakeholders, describing engagement as key to addressing challenges and improving operational efficiency across the sector.

The LPG Operators Association, for its part, expressed appreciation for the NPA’s regulatory role, commending the Authority for its oversight and efforts to maintain standards within the industry.

The Association further welcomed the ongoing collaboration, indicating that continued engagement with the regulator would help build trust and enhance efficiency in the LPG value chain.
