Independent parliamentary aspirant for Kpone Katamanso Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Abraham Aidoo, has graduated with honours after emerging as the overall best student in International Relations.

Mr. Aidoo received the distinction at the Accra Business School, which is affiliated with the University of Cape Coast and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, during a ceremony held on Saturday, April 25.

He also earned multiple subject-specific awards during his Master of Science in International Relations programme, appearing five times among top-performing students.

Beyond this achievement, Mr. Aidoo is expected to graduate in June from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, where he studied Conflict, Peace and Security at the postgraduate level.

He is currently pursuing another master’s degree in Governance and Leadership at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration(GIMPA).

His academic journey reflects a strong commitment to leadership, governance, and international affairs, as he continues to build credentials alongside his political ambitions.

The institution where he studied, now known as the University of Gold Coast, has evolved over the years from a professional training centre into a fully accredited private university.

It received its Presidential Charter in December 2024, granting it autonomy to award its own degrees.

With a reputation for combining academic excellence with practical training, the university continues to position its graduates to make meaningful contributions across various sectors.
