Ghana’s Ambassador presents credentials to Suriname President
Ghana’s Ambassador to Brazil, with concurrent accreditation to 11 other countries, Nii Amasah Namoale, has officially presented credentials to the President of Suriname, Jennifer Geerlings-Simons.
The brief ceremony, held at the presidential office, formally recognises the ambassador as Ghana’s representative to Suriname and paves the way for strengthened diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Presenting the letters of credence, the ambassador Namoale reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment and cultural exchange.
The engagement also provided an opportunity for discussions on enhancing collaboration between Ghana and Suriname, particularly within the broader framework of South-South cooperation.
The presentation of credentials marks a significant step in reinforcing diplomatic ties, as both countries seek to explore new avenues for partnership and development.
