NDC National Youth Working Committee chairman tours Bono East Region, engages youth organisers
The Chairman of the National Youth Working Committee, Okai Mintah, has led a nationwide tour to the Bono East Region as part of the party’s ongoing reorganisation exercise aimed at strengthening engagement with youth organisers.
During the visit, the team also stopped at the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Sunyani, where they joined the institution’s chapter of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) for its Freshers’ Orientation Programme.
The programme brought together student members and party youth leaders to discuss the role of young people in strengthening the party’s grassroots structures.
Among the dignitaries present at the event were Onassis Kobby, Kofi Kofituo, Kwaku Asiedu-Nketiah and Anas Suwari, as well as regional party executives.
Mr. Mintah, also the Board Chairman of the National Service Authority (NSA), expressed appreciation to the regional youth leadership, constituency youth organisers, their deputies and other youth representatives for their active participation in the engagements.
He noted that the ongoing tour is aimed at strengthening collaboration within the youth wing of the party and sustaining momentum towards building a stronger and more vibrant youth front across the country.
